For the past 6 months, I convinced myself non-violent protests to convince others is the way. Protested the mandates through the winter....
People are not waking up.
There is no chance to convince people, when they already know. They pretend its not happening because its easier to comply than stand up

Successful movements do have both. You have the extreme parts of the movement to prove that the people protesting are willing to go further, and the moderate movements to prove the people protesting are willing to compromise. Given the choice, the establishment will compromise.
People remember Gandhi and Martin Luther King, but if their words weren't backed up by violent nationalists or violent black power movements, nobody would have bothered listening to them.
I believe in non-violence, but being too passive will just get you ignored.
