    I think part of the problem with a lot of these people is they never enter the next phase of life where their petty wants aren't the most important thing.

    It's one of the reasons why so many of these people disproportionately want to have access to and control over other people's kids -- they don't want to go through the sacrifices to build that legacy for themselves, so they want to hijack someone else's...
