  I once heard zelda series was going to be a Christian game but they scrapped direct references to religion last minute

  like the triforce sounds kind of like the idea of the trinity of Father / Son / Holy Ghost

    Ehh. Zelda is Japanese and was originally inspired by that nintendo guy's love of nature and his child hood adventures. I read. They just started taking inspiration from midevil western fantasy.

    Also notice the God/God's are female in zelda. In eastern lore, God is sometimes portrayed as a woman not a man.

    Like Nuwa (女媧) who Is an analogous god in Chinese mythology who made mankind from clay.

    They certainly just stole the idea of the trinity I don't know of a eastern equivalent. Might be one though.

      In some Hebrew traditions, the Holy Spirit is female. That makes sense in a way when you think about the unpardonable sin. I mean, try slapping your own mother and see what Dad does, assuming he is a real man.
