    @realcaseyrollins it gums up carburettors and some fuel injectors. The water content is also bad in a lot of kinds of engines.
    
    The point of the move appears to be to cut the petrol supply with a more expensive and more subsidized product for less than real petrol. The whole thing is a joke and the science seems to agree.
