Why not make them look like Hitler? Get folks to associate homosexuality with extremism. That isn't far off. Antifa is a terror group, the Democrats started the KKK, and a number of Nazis were gay. Hitler went after the liberal gays first and supposedly started culling closer to his own ranks.
But yeah, just spraying over their faces is a good approach too. That represents shame and they shouldn't want to show their faces.
