  Its linked to a feeling of guilt - white guilt, privilege guilt etc. This guilt exists because these people are very conscientious. If you tell them they did something wrong, they will readily accept it and try to make right.

  This normally good quality has been weaponised against them. Note, women generally are much more heavily influenced by this guilt/shamed category. That's why Woke movement has mostly women.
