  A lot more than that.

  If the deal to buy twitter for a 40% markup falls through, then I would expect Twitter stock to crash. A lot of institutional investors would want to get out of such a toxic company that can't even sit down shut up and take a massive payout.

  It could be cataclysmic for tech. The stocks might become toxic.
