I don’t know of anyone who wants this TV show in the first place. It is too early for a reboot! It only ended 13 years ago, that’s way too soon.
I also don’t know how anyone could beat the casting of the movies. Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson? Not to mention Julie Walters, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter… Ralph Fiennes? Maggie Smith? It was cast beautifully.
I won’t lie I always said the movies should have been a TV show, with each season being a book. However, that ship has sailed. 13 years is not long enough to justify a remake.

I'm not sure why they're not doing a sequel or prequel series in the same vein of GoT instead.
To be fair, Netflix just released a live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which ended 16 years ago, as well as One Piece, which is still ongoing.
