  We do have to remember that blood clots happened before COVID and they'll happen after. It's tough to say if this particular incidence was caused by that or something else.

  My wife nearly died 10 years ago from blood clots after a particularly nasty bout of pneumonia.

  Not saying it's not the cause, more that we need to be skeptical of both things we agree with and things we don't.

    Agree but blod clots at 23 are extremely rare and even more extremely rare for athletes. 1 case means nothing but it does feel like there have been a lot of these. Until someone can compare the last two years with previous years it doesn't mean anything I guess.
