What retard soldiers are eating cakes given to them by the people they ate invading?

Haha sure, yes, it may be that they claimed to be ethnic Russians fully supportive of the invasion.

But I also think we might have to file this under ghost of Kiev.

Conscripts who were lied to and sent as fodder so professional Russian army could test UA response

There was this video of burnt Russian trucks outside Kiev. Inside dumped clothes like gloves. Russian conscripts had hidden small change they had stolen from shops.

Old UA veterans were like - "These idiots came here to steal small change but lose a leg. Why ?"

Russia can hold the East, where there is a large Russian population. Attack on Kiev seems to be a huge distraction to keep the Ukrainians occupied.

      Whose counting ?

Yeah. The problems Russia had with logistics & sending conscripts first as fodder to test the enemy resulted in this. Conscripts were foraging, looting shops etc because of bad supply. Russia doesn't care.

The professional army is in the East, well fed and supplied

Some aspects of this may be true, I concede.

I dunno, it really reminds me of The Art of War, that supplies you get from your enemy are as good as 8 times the same supplies sent from home.

I heard a story about an observation of soldiers in World War 2 from Russia, and they carried bullets and guns and no food at all. I have to assume that it's a long-standing russian policy to pillage to reduce the cost of standing armies in the field?

If this was 8 times better than what they would have gotten home, I dare not try Russian conscript food.
