Since the human rights violations of peaceful protestors in Ottawa Canada and people like myself who are non Canadian were left wondering how easily the Charter was dismissed, when we thought it was enshrined in law, are there any moves by anyone, including the opposition, to address the lack of teeth that the Charter held against government overreach?
The People's Party of Canada is a relatively new political party that formed just a few years ago, and one of their core things is that the constitution in Canada isn't taken seriously enough and that the country needs to change that. They went from 2% of the vote in their first election to 5% in their second election just two years later.
Besides that, it looks like the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada may be Pierre Poilievre, and one of his core messages is freedom. I believe that his predecessor, Erin O'Toole, was ousted in part because he navigated himself in a less freedom-oriented direction that couldn't allow him to properly exploit the trucker convoy's message.

I heard of several on Viva's channel, but they seemed to be aimed at individuals like the pastors who were disappeared.
Judges in Canada have give absurd rulings, forcing pastors to say specific sentences before every speech etc.
Truckers are really there much needed wakeup call, and more effective than courts.
