Workers: we want wages higher than our market value and we have a union. Democrats: we need higher taxes for anti-poverty, anti-drug, anti-racism, and anti-inequality programs. Business: ok, Workers you can go home now. We cannot afford you anymore. Workers: why would capitalism do this to us?
People blame capitalism because they are too stupid to understand what actually happened.

What is also remarkable to think about is the fact that places with low crime, like whitopia enclaves in Scandinavia, Canada, & the American uppermidwest, and all of South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, could really just have completley unmanned convenience stores and various other facilities operating solely off of robots with a camera to potentially track down the occasional youth or homeless person that might try to steal...
But they resist doing it because part of the joy of owning a business is having employees and feeling good that you are giving back to the community by providing jobs in addition to services.
If these people keep pushing, they will ruin everything.
It doesn't actually need to go robotic until the population declines significantly.

I dunno. I think we should have robots do all the boring jobs. There are plenty of things which are unpaid now but need doing.
