It is really -- the ugliest, boldest, baddest war.
I have seen some footage out of Russia rather recently that was quite strange -- it was gore, but it was so excessive that the end product no longer looked human enough to empathize with.
We are back to that type of war -- that of bodies charred black and significant portions of them vaporized or unrecognizable.
Lord have mercy on us.

The middle eastern wars spoil you because they are based on short guerrilla attacks using small arms. Supersonic cruise missiles using plastic explosives are an entirely different story.
