Tbh. Without a pic I canât advise what to do but washing it is only gonna create mud. If itâs anything like a dust buster then turn the bag inside out and brush out as much as you can.

It does look a bit coated with dust so I could try to tap it a lot but donât want sacrifice a paintbrush. Iâm not sure if itâs too delicate to rinse.
Perhaps I might be able to find an equivalent or close enough spare part

Yes a dry brush to that 3rd pic of the filter will do a lot.

Thanks! Dry brushed that and the sponge disc, removed all hair from the sweepers - then I found a hidden clog that I hadnât seen or been able to reach. It was wayyy up there (Morty). The opening was also pretty small.
I sent a drain snake brush through because it was a narrow rigid hooked bend too long for a pipe cleaner - then realised it was detachable. Doh!
Itâs still kind of just ok and was never really that strong. Probably either a stick thing, cordless, or Kmart.
But itâs useful to know about the bottleneck. It doesnât tend to handle even tiny torn pieces of cardboard from Melbcatâs scratching piece, so that will be the first thing I check in future.
