I’ve been thinking some large eskies would work. I’d have to play around with the angle grinder but I think I could pull something off.

Cheap plastic small dog kennel with an old towel inside. Bound to be one or more on marketplace or facebook or neighbourhood free stuff exchange.

  Good idea! I actually have a large wooden dog kennel in my backyard from the previous tenants.

    Maybe put a cardboard box or two inside the kennel so the space isn’t as large and the cats can cuddle up with each other. Also less drafty. Might be an idea to flea treat the kennel as you don’t know if the previous inhabitant had fleas or whatever.
