This is true for more Kbin communities. There comes many spam from this community and also many reports from lemmy.world users. That’s why we did choose to remove this community from LW.

Do you not have sufficient moderation? Strikes me as a bit of a dick move, especially with no notice, given that it’s one of the larger communities I subscribed to.

The dick move is when you call out people that are doing something for you for free. Everything you see here is provided to you by volunteers who have to think about what’s best for everyone in the community. And sometimes that means taking unpopular decisions. Thanks!

You don’t think it runs antithetical to the entire foundational concept of a federation? I’m sorry that (apparently?) some unwanted attention was given, but you can’t deny it really stinks of taking your ball and going home.
