I’m not trying to spark anger, just trying to get people to see things from a different perspective. But I think it’s time we dropped the subject, the only thing this conversation is doing at this point, is making us go round and round in circles and letting our emotions take hold of us. Have a good day sir/ma’am and I hope your life continues in the way you want it.

Yeah you are definitely using emotionally charged language to talk about this.
You should ask yourself why decisions around money reflect on your self image, ie “conceit” “deserve”.
