It could be a “language” issue. The Lemmy interface doesn’t tell you which languages are currently allowed in a community, and if the community mods turned off “Undetermined” (which isn’t recommended) and you post in a tagged language that isn’t allowed it will keep spinning forever. The UX isn’t great on that front…

Hm, the community sidebar is in Dutch and English though, and I tried to create the post in English, so one would think it’s allowed.

Looks like it works. Just made a test post (and deleted it). I only see ‘Nederlands’ within the language selection, can that be it?
