Comment on Ubisoft Montreal's mandatory return-to-office order reportedly leaves staff in "turmoil"
Talaraine@kbin.social 9 months agoI think is actually a thing and it's despicable too. They 'eliminate' positions in one location then have your spot in another city for you 'if you want it', when moving can be financially crippling or undesirable. Then they can recreate the position whenever they damn well feel like it.

And pay the new hire doing your job an entry level rate instead of the pay you might have had for working there a while.
