While I was packing some clothes into my suitcase in a hurry it fell off the bench and fucking walloped my leg. I don’t even remember which part of it hit me. It was an instant “oh fuck” when it was falling but I could move in time

Now I have an about 8cm long red, swollen, very painful bruise on my shin. This happened about 4 hours ago, and I did try to brush it off, but it hurt walking through the shops to go get my roast chicken and I got many stares (I wear shorts). I also don’t have a first aid kit or ice pack yet, so uhh, go me I guess. Oh, and I’m a tummy sleeper so it’s hurts to lie down 🙃
