brachypelmasmithi@lemm.ee 6 days agoUnfortunately no. The swivel range gets severely reduced when I invert the mount, stopping with the camera pointing basically upwards at the mount’s farthest point.
Searching “GoPro mount extension” did bring up what I wanted though, so thank you!

I think you may have misunderstood what I meant by inverting the mount. You need to invert the camera with it.

Then you can easily point it down, away from the sky.
The camera should automatically rotate the video for you. Even if it doesn’t, that’s super easy to do in any editing software.

I almost wonder if this is how it’s intended to be as I can’t imagine why someone would design a mount that only allows the camera to point at the sky.
