finitebanjo@lemmy.world 1 week agoIn a place where nobody would ever look for it, then yeah, but if he didn’t have that chance then it would be stupid to leave a trail of evidence. Idk about the specifics of it’s manufacturing (it was a 3D printed gun) but it might be pretty incriminating if they found it and compared it to files on his computer or matching filaments.

He crossed several states iirc, that’s several hours of driving. Couldn’t he have thrown the gun into the wilderness or some lake mid road?? In European terns that’s like comitting a crime in Spain and getting caught in Germany because you didn’t dispose of the gun across two countries.

He took a bus. Bus drivers don’t appreciate you throwing things out the window, and other passengers might notice if a guy dressed like the CEO killer tosses a weapon.
