Comment on Valve now sell refurbished Steam Deck OLED models
Hiro8811@lemmy.world 1 week agoNot really but it’s a nice feature also the compactness + Linux compatibility + 90hz oled+ Linux+ customability + layovers,filters at ~450 refurbished. But on the other hand a desktop has upgrability + good graphics+ fps + fast unpack for cracked games. As I made this comment I realise SteamOS exists so I think a PC is the best option here

Linux is free, and pretty much all hardware is compatible. AMD GPUs have a small advantage with their open source drivers, but Nvidia cards still function 99.9% of the time as far as I’m aware. You don’t need to worry about it. Just install Linux and you’re likely good to go.
