ampersandrew@lemmy.world 1 week agoI’m not very traveled in the looter space, but the idea is to prevent hacked profiles from cheating their way through the online item economy, right? In which case, I’d still imagine the solution is to allow you to migrate an online profile offline but not the other way around.

That’s the idea. You could also download cheat engine to fuck around in those games because I want to be a powerful badass destroying everything in sight.
