        No, people keep expecting the democrats to actually support policies and do what is fucking necessary to protect they well being and ensure a strong middle class.

        • democrats had the option to kill the fillibuster to get laws passed. they choose not to.
        • democrats had the option it ignore the parliamentarian when it came to minimum wage increase.
        • democrats had the option to pack the SCOTUS to resolve roe v wade. (see filibuster)
        • democrats had the option to not support a genocidal nation.
        • democrats had the option to not break strikes. they chose to break them.

        You’d likely be correct. there are also a host of firearm laws at the federal level. the use of a fake id also has federal implications.

        sadly the other commentor is just a twit who thinks everyone who dislikes the democrats and refuses to vote for either party is somehow more misinformed than they are and are to blame for their preferred candidates loss, and iirc that individual was also one of the losers carrying water defending israel’s genocide during the campaign. pretty disgusting all around. 🤷
