V for vendetta becoming a history movie would be fine with me. Also duck uvalde cops and republicans who say “now is not the time to discuss gun laws”

I believe all Americans who have gone through proper backgrounds checks and the like should be able to buy and own a gun. I’m saving up for a USP 45. But I do think that owning an AR with a bump stock is pretty clearly a line that should be drawn, as an example.
As you said, we need to discuss gun laws, and the time is often best when guns are used to kill innocents. So maybe now isn’t the time, but it should have been the time long ago.
