Nath@aussie.zone âš1â© âšdayâ© agoNobody here has offered hate to you. Youâre choosing to interpret simple facts in that light. Australia and USA diverge on many topics, and no: we donât blindly follow their policies on anything.
While the rhetoric in their media has been ghastly on trans issues this past decade, I have not seen that mirrored in Australia. There is no debate raging in parliament over dunnies or drag queens reading. In fact, when some loonies tried to protest such an event here, it didnât go well for them. We even had a drag queen come read to my kidâs class. Fully supported by the school.
Yes, we are culturally influenced by the US, but we donât blindly follow them. If the US were a paragon of Trans rights, there would still be dozens of nations around the world where trans people are persecuted. We donât need to be fixated on any of these countries or their politics. We can (and do) go out own way.

The police call it a hate crime, what do you call it, an offer of love taps?
I am interpreting ASSAULT am I?
Get fucked. Interpret that however you want
Just because you have not seen something happen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen and don't you dare tell me what it is like to live my life.
How very mansplaining of you.
I am not even going to bother. You're arrogant and ignorant.
Blocked.
