This is why I think people need to understand that it’s not AI. These companies using AI as a buzzword are shooting themselves in the foot.

These companies are abrreviating generative AI (like Chat GPT) as “gen AI” now.
Even though that’s always meant general AI (actual intelligence).
Was this ever a thing? I have never seen or heard anyone use “gen AI” to mean AGI. In fact I can’t even find one instance of “gen AI” referring to AGI.
