    Because they’re shitty people and threaten intimidation are the only way they would win. We don’t do the same thing, because we are better than them. Stooping to their level would make us just as bad.

      Stooping to their level on campaign tactics would not make us just as bad, because our means are equal and the ends we want to achieve are nobler than theirs.
