It’s actually very difficult to get a good photo of the stains…

Oh, yeah, this looks barely stained in the photos. Nice find! I’m curious how the unpeening will go. With this triple rivet, there’s more opportunity to ~~mess one up~~ learn 😅

I’m hesitant: the scales are in excellent shape, and I’ve never unpeened anything. The rivets are very loose though. And I hoped that I could get away with only removing 1 rivet…-

  I find the repeening scarier than the unpeening. When I started out, I got myself cheap plastic scales from Maggard to train on and I didn’t regret it

    Not necessarily.
    
    But I think I will avoid (un)peening for the moment, until I find myself a cheapo razor I don’t mind destroying for practice
