The biggest downfall of the religious right was their failure to do this. They went out and tried to change the world, they tried to stick their fingers in everyone's business, and then they became irrelevant. The left is doing the right thing. It's an unforced error in progress, and it's about to end the Democratic party for the next 10 years.
