hedgehog@ttrpg.network 1 year agoWomen necessarily are human, but “females” assuredly are not. If someone refers to “a female” they are most likely referring to an animal, likely livestock. They could also be referring to a particular type of electronics adapter or something along those lines, though. They’re probably not talking about an adult human woman.

The “livestock” part is just made up to make it look even more dehumanising. It’s used to refer to females of all species, period. Basic animals sure do have their specific names (cow/bull, shewolf/wolf, mare/horse…) But if not you just say “male animal/female animal”
