Lord_Logjam@feddit.uk 9 months agoMost people won’t be testing themselves anymore. I have a few tests left over that I got from work but the vast majority of people will just put symptoms down to a cold and will likely only test if they end up going to hospital.

This is what I was going to say - you won’t find what you don’t test for, and these days next to no one outside specialist healthcare settings will be testing.
Best we can hope for these days is that sewage monitoring is still in place.
