That’s gross. I use soap.
Its literally being sterilized by the heat.
So are toenail clippings I find on the street if I heat them up first, doesn’t mean I want to put them near my food.

Just because somebody else on the internet agrees with you doesn’t change the face that using cookware with old bits of food on it that changes the taste of the new food is gross.
