    That might be because you’re on another instance, which has mirrors of all our content. As of now, the mentioned community does not exist on lemmy.world.

        Absolutely. You can also notify your instance admins to remove or purge the community, if that would make your user experience better.

  Hello, as the moderator of said forum i’d like to know what was bad-faith behaviour and repeated hateful content, and why this wasn’t brought up to the moderators of our forum by the administrators of this site before a removal of our forum. Thank you.

  Is it standard procedure to arbitrarily remove communities on this site without even notifying the moderators of the community? Let alone giving an example of whatever was the cause for the ban?

    This isn’t Reddit. No Lemmy instance proclaims itself a free speech site, and your community exists only at the pleasure of the instance operators. If you feel hard done by the instance operators, your recourse is to make your own Lemmy instance rather than whine about being OMGETEHSCENS0RZED!
