  I watched a article on it today. He is asking for volunteer illegals that just want a ride. So it's not like he is going to get thousands of people that will shit on the white house lawn. It's just him playing politics.

    Why is it just politics ? He cannot enforce immigration laws, its Federal issue. Since Biden is on purpose dumping these people on border states, Abott is cleaning up what he can.

    He cannot legally do more - though I am sure he would like to.

      He's not sending them in numbers that matter. Just enough to take photos , make news headlines and write Twitter post about it.

        Yes, I am not disagreeing with the first part of what you said.

        What I am saying is that he legally cannot do more than this, because immigration is not State jurisdiction. Even if Abott wanted to do more, he cannot simply round up everyone and move them.

        Its not fair to judge him for this, when his hands are tied.
