  I read from other sources he's actually doing it. Not just photo ops.

  Legality is not relevant, since its a federal issue and Biden stopped enforcement. He can of course bring back enforcement, destroying his pro-immigration base. That's exactly what Abott wants - enforcement.

  Win-win for Abott whether Biden stops it or not. Lose-lose for Dems in an already disastrous year.

    I watched a article on it today. He is asking for volunteer illegals that just want a ride. So it's not like he is going to get thousands of people that will shit on the white house lawn. It's just him playing politics.

      Why is it just politics ? He cannot enforce immigration laws, its Federal issue. Since Biden is on purpose dumping these people on border states, Abott is cleaning up what he can.

      He cannot legally do more - though I am sure he would like to.
