Tis a joke about color perception :) OK. I suspected something like this.
to me, in the photo the eye does look like oversaturated blue (maybe due to blown out white around the eye)
Colour perception, different display… who knows. :)

Both images are heavily edited. With different filters. Any assumption about their real colors is moot.
