MissJinx@lemmy.world 5 days agoThat’s what happened to me. I’m overweight myself and my doctor is a wheight expert too and In my case I was able to change my life with depression treatment but also with some hormonal replacement.

What was surreal to me is the doctor is telling me this and I couldn’t wrap my brain around it. I wanted to argue. I’ve heard “diet and exercise” for so long it was like a conditioned response kicking on.
