In any case I've got three accounts, on exploding-heads.com as well as narwhal.city and kbin.projectsegfau.lt. If Exploding Heads go down, I'll probably go back to posting to the equivalent communities in narwhal.city that I've ran for awhile.

yeah, exploding-heads. per announcement EH is going permanently offline after 8/31 since Kapow and others have expressed no confidence in future of lemmy (too easy for admins to censor content that users might be interested in, defed wars, issues with updates that cause lot of headaches for admins, etc).
Some folks are moving to nostr (e.g. satellite.earth/n/explodingheads) but others have stated they have no interest in moving there and will probably drift to other sites. I did see you had a narwhal.city account but wasn’t sure if you posted the same kind of things over there or not. Hadn’t been aware of that kbin instance, so thanks - will bookmark

Hmm, nostr is a bit of a weird choice.
I actually joined EH at first mostly just to test out Lemmy; I primarily use @realcaseyrollins@kbin.projectsegfau.lt now, with this account as a backup. But the EH community is super abrasive and aggressive, I don't know any instances that I am 100% sure would be okay with the type of content the EH community likes to share.
