Mirshe@lemmy.world 10 months agoParamount wants it off everything and out of production so they can practice the dark art of tax writeoffs with its sacrifice. If they aren’t selling it or streaming it anywhere, they can claim it as a business loss.

Again, CBS Studios is a subsidiary of Paramount, and they don’t want it off the air and are actively shopping it around, so it’s not as simple as you say.
