Most of the bots on Lemmy so far are just link-dumping from Reddit and RSS feeds. It ruins All and it looks like a lot of it is starting to go to community farming. I saw one yesterday where the bot was using multiple accounts and posting shortened links to survey sites across a bunch of Astro-turfed sites.
