These editions can’t be cheap to produce, I’ve just found out this set is $170!! I wish they would produce cheaper sets without the physical extras.

Physical media is a niche industry now. A company like Imprint would have purchased the rights to this movie in a batch that included other movies that aren’t as popular. A movie with this much name recognition is like the Christmas season for them, so they need to produce deluxe sets like these to recoup their investment on the entire batch and turn a profit.
Don’t worry, there will definitely be a regular edition at a later date. They’ll want to sell as many copies of this as possible.
