pkru@lemmy.ca 1 year agoSounds like they might be pumping water into that shrimp. They do it for chicken breast and I think up to half the weight of the product can be water added or something ridiculous like that.

That’s how they do, it’s all water weight and then they freeze it. You end up paying more for their shitty shrimp than you would at a decent market.
