My future career as a welder. I’m currently in a paid apprenticeship and I’m stuck on the final qualification before graduation. Everything else was easy, but the copper-nickel to mild steel test keeps failing. I’m on my forth and final test attempt.

If I fail, there’s a real possibility I’ll be fired. It would be foolish of them to fire me as they’ve already invested a considerable amount of time, money, and training on me. But I don’t know if they’ll see sense, so I’m getting my resume ready for another job.
