Phegan@lemmy.world 3 months agoI learned recently that the theme park “six flags” is short for six flags over Texas. One of those flags is the Confederate flag. They are celebrating being under the Confederate flag…at a theme park.

To be fair it’s nowhere near the normal lost cause stuff. The other flags are Spain, Mexico, France, Texas, and the United States. They aren’t specifically calling it out, it’s just there, as one of the flags that flew over Texas.

Yeah. Never seen a confederate flag over the park itself.
