Baku@aussie.zone āØ1ā© āØmonthā© agoIāve not been to the one at crown or to gold class, but Iāve literally never had anyone at any theatre (Iāve been to most of the majors) care about smuggling in some stuff from Coles. Granted I donāt just walk in holding a packet of chips, I usually just have a small pack of something and a drink stuffed in my pockets, but as long as you arenāt obvious about it theyāre unlikely to care. Plus the entirety of Hoyts seems to be staffed by like 2 people who always seem horribly burnt out and give absolutely zero shits

Good class is well worth the money if youāve never been. As there are so few seats in the room and it being more expensive, it weeds out people that may disrupt your viewing experience. The seats are very comfy too. Itās like having a real home cinema screen. But itās easy to get carried away and spend money though with a āpress this button on your table for food or drinksā being available on demand.
But yeah, the people staffing at the Crown one are polite stereotypical minimum wage idgaf people, which is probably the same experience I assume at the Hoyts youāve been to.
So to original replier: if youāre short on cash just donāt be a knob and no one will care. Maybe buy a drink / soda!?
