Well that’s unfortunately colored my memories of the novels. Can I go back to a few minutes ago before you made me realize this?

I’m sorry. It honestly ruined the show for me as soon as I noticed. When I first started watching it I was so excited to meet all kinds of varied people, especially from the MCs past, but once I got to Nadeko Snake I was like, “O, it’s waifus all the way down.”

It’s really too bad, because yokai/folklore themed anime/manga is exactly my jam. Ugh why are animes and manga always so damn horny.
I’ve had to switch almost entirely to Korean manhwa for my comic fix.
