JohnnyEnzyme@lemm.ee 2 months agoPlus, guys at this level / age / injury history rarely seem able to acknowledge that they’re not worth what they once were, and that it could be a really bad idea for a team to overpay them. No doubt part of that involves their agents spurring them on.
The reason the Sixers did it is mainly because they’re getting desperate to make a good run with Embiid.

right and as we know from PG himself now, the dealbreaker was a no trade clause. LAC offered him the same contract as Kawhi, but PG wanted a NTC and that was a hard no for LAC.
