Mars2k21@sh.itjust.works 2 months agoTo be fair, MVPG on OKC was a thing (though very bad in the playoffs) and he nearly took the Clippers to the finals in 2021 without Kawhi.
Though what I don’t understand is signing him under a max…the guy will be 37 once it ends. Recipe for disaster if he regresses.

Definitely risky especially towards the end of the deal but 76ers kinda had to pull the trigger on someone this offseason with Maxey’s contract and PG was definitely the best available. He also wasn’t going to take less than 4 years otherwise it sounds like he would’ve stayed with the Clippers.
